Jan 11th is my CHEAT DAY

Jan 11th is my cheat day (this is allowing me to cut out those ADDICTIVE things that are causing my extra load of fatigue).

OMG I did 4 Dr Pepper Sodas (this is VERY VERY VERY bad - and as a reminder in real time I am ahead of these posts by a month so it's killing me to relive my evil habits). I had gotten so off track that I was doing this DAILY. The copious amounts of sugar found in a soda can contribute to activating our reward centers in our brains, similar to what happens with drugs, and triggers the release of dopamine. Caffeine, which is a stimulant, can be craved by our brains and make us dependent on our daily intake of them.

I paid the price for drinking those 4 cans of soda. I felt down and out. And seriously had pushed through the day. I cleaned the RV, put all of our cleaned laundry away, it was my turn to do the cat box. I didn't feel up to the task by any means but I was not going to allow my stupid soda addiction to ruin everything.

And more depressingly it's our financial meeting today too. We do this every other Wednesday to assign where our paycheck money goes too. It's a pain in the butt but it keeps us on the same page which saves us from arguing about money (something we really haven't done much of because we work together on our goals).

$750 goes into savings
$86 RV Insurance
$119.99 pays off Canva for the year

Leftover funds goes towards our vitamins. All of Mark's Bio donation money goes towards our food and gas for the truck. Since I pay off most of our bills once a year, we are managing to stay ahead of the game. We are working on upgrading our insurance on all our vehicles and paying off that bill with 6 months in advance for a year. If we can pull off enough sideline work/tips we are going to do the year. The odd week checks go towards our 2024 Bills so when the time comes, we pay them off. The secret sauce for us is

Breakfast: Coffee/Water
Lunch: Protein Shake
Dinner: Brussel Sprouts/Delicata Squash/Bacon (a new dish for us)

For the full recipe we recommend FLAVCITY

And this was so beyond yummy. The dressing was a major SHOCK for us. I would never have guessed the combo of the herbs and honey would make a huge taste difference.

Snack we had popcorn (butter was not Bobby Approved)
Cheese bits (again was not Bobby Approved)

Morning/Night Pills taken.

I am NOT a doctor. Everything I am doing is about my food and health journey. If you do anything from this article, you are doing it by your own free will.

What to do with NO POO daily workout sweaty hair?

What to do with NO POO daily workout sweaty hair?

I am no poo. What? What the heck is no poo? In the broadest sense, no poo means I don't use shampoo. I use a different type of method to wash my hair that doesn't include chemicals. Because I am no poo, and have been for 2 years now. I've always been able to go up to 1 week without having to wash my hair. Does it stink? You'd think it would, but it doesn't - it's weird how that works.

Now, that I workout 6 days a week and I'm sweating out the bad stuff, it's causing my hair to look and feel different because it's holding daily sweet and releasing all the bad crap I've been eating. Sweating can also cause damage to your hair with the salt that is released. So I have to change the way that I take care of my hair now.

I use the baking soda wash and the apple cider vinegar rinse as my conditioner. This was recommended when I was first doing Cancer Treatments (immunotherapy). The first 3 months were hell on wheels because my hair was so greasy and dull and just really unhealthy. In the 4th month, I went to have my hair tight french braided. I was requesting my hair to be water spritzed and she was combing through my hair and could not find one piece of dry skin anywhere. It's also great on the pocketbook too. It is only pennies to wash my hair. No more $30 Shampoo's. But better no more harmful chemicals.

I now have to do a daily rinse to get the salt out of my sweaty hair. So to stay with NO POO and for whatever product I use, it still needs to also be BOBBY APPROVED. I use 1/4 of a tablet of Sal de Uvas PIcot, Effervescent Powder Solution, Antacid. LOL wait what? For real!! It gets the salt out and keeps me from damaging my hair. I just mix 1/4 of the tablet to an 8oz of water and rinse full out and back on the t-shirt goes on for as long as I have to allow it.

Jan 10th

Breakfast: Overnight Oats
Lunch: Hard Boiled Egg/Epic Meat Bar
Dinner: Paleo Chicken/Bean, Potato with cheese

Water
Blue Tea
Coffee
Water
Hot Chocolate (NOT BOBBY APPROVED)
Water
Blue Tea

Workout:
15 minutes of dancing
(oh boy tomorrow I start with low impact weights - I hate working out with weights)

Face treatment - morning and night (I even wore some makeup today)

Today was a my weekly hair washing day. So it's baking soda, (1/2 tsp in 8 oz lukewarm water) and then wash out and then add apple cider vinegar (just a tsp in 8 oz lukewarm water). Wrap in a t-shirt for 2-3 hours and I'll be done. I never brush my hair when it's wet (ever) - I use a big wide bamboo comb and pick through my hair and then wrap up to dry as much as it can in the t-shirt. Then I finger combed it.

Mindset: It was a good day for me. I really try to do extra breathing.

The picture is dinner.... Palo Powder is a complete game changer for us. Just click the link below to where we get ours from. They don't have this in our local store so we do order 4 bags a month.
